another day out to another theme park..  thank god hani's back to help me out with the kids this time...hehehhe.... at least i didnt have to ride all the rides three times as i had to do at legoland.. oh dear.. hehhe.... had a marvelous day out.. the sun was out so no more raincoats.. yay!! love the beanoland.. brings nack memories!!

Barcelona - Day 3

Our last day..  decided to drag our bags and leave it at a locker so that it would be easier for us to go to the airport later.. well.. our means of transposrt is still the same so yes.. we did drag our luggage across the highway.. actually cross the highway with it and got on the bus than the train.. heheh..
The locker was at one of the tourist site as well so we went to Estacio de Sants first.. than got on the tourist bus again to finish off the green route. Once that was done, we decided to spend the rest of the day at the beach..so we ended up half of the day at Port Olympic.. hehe.. the beaches was scattered with topless and nude ppl of all ages and sizes..  i tired to get tanned but dont think my skin would allow it since i'm still pale as ever.. sigh.. hehe.. Had our lunch by the beach than headed back to the city, Placa Catalunya to the a last stop at Hard Rock than.. sigh.. off to the aeroport...bye bye Barcelona... !!

Barcelona- Day 2
|
|
To make sure we manage to cover all the tourist attraction of Barcelona, we decided to take the Barcelona Bus Turistic.There were 3 lines, red, blue and green which we discovered was actually a very long route ( shows that there's lots of places to go and visit) hehe. Our aim was to cover both the red and blue.. so off we go...
Barcelona's is know for Antoni Gaudi's unique and outstanding architectural which i must say.. it was magnificant. Gosh.. never knew the beauty of an art till i saw this.. the buildings.. was excellent.. the art piece was.. marvelous.. we were too dumbstruck by it that all we could do was stare at it and keep blinking our eyes. hehe we went to see 3 out of 4 of his major work which was the Casa Battlo, Sagrada Familia and Park Guell.
Just to complete our stay in Barcelona, we took the cable car to see the view from the top. Breathtaking. one word to explain it all... I've definitely fallen in love with Barcelona.hehe.. One of our last stop was at the Futbol Club Barcelona. Went down to take a picture of the stadium (which was really big) and gosh.. even the souvenier shop was huge... Unfortunately for us.. there was a big game that night and we had to walk a really long walk to catch the bus as they close the roads to prevent traffic.
Holiday in Barcelona wouldnt be complete if we didnt experience the nighlife over there.. gosh.. happening giller.. thats all that i can say. At first me and Hani wanted to club but since we've both been on our feet since 8am.. our feets protested so we just chilled and had hot chocolate at Port Vell. (hot chocolate in Barcelona is a no no.. not nice) oh yeah.. forgot to mention that to those who drink and smoke.. u would love barcelona.. even in McD they were serving beers and actually had a smoking indoor floor. can u believe it.. hehe
All in all... we had an excellent time today..

Barcelona - Day 1

|
The day we've both been waiting for... hehe.. off to barcelona!!! Left the house at about 4.45am... kak ta has been kind enough to send us since we didnt sleep the whole night due to our excitement.. lets just say.. the minute we sat down on the plane, we both fell asleep immediately. hehe.
Arrive at about 10.30am which we than took the cab back to our hotel. We were in for a suprise as our hotel ( Hotel Babera Parc) was really far. In the middle of the highway can u believe it.. oh dear.. heheh. our means of transport is either take a cab to the railway than train to city or walk, cross the highway, take a bus and than an underground train.Since me and hani wanted an adventure, we took option two.
First stop, Plaze Catalunya.A lesson to learn, buy dictionary since they cant speake even the basic English. Oh dear. We had a rough time figuring it out but it was intersting. Felt like a retarded person who couldnt speak. hehe The high street where all the branded things were there.. A very long stretch of shops but me and hani decided to forgo that as our aim was to just chill..(actually,. we couldnt afford it..  ) rose and not shop doesnt go together does it.. hehe.
We had our first coffee at the Navarra cafe.( wanted to feel the breeze by the road of Barcelona) hehe. did i mention that the weather was excellent. Sunny but windy. i like ..
Second stop, we went for a walk down the La Rambla, Barcelona's landmark Boulevard.Gosh.. I really trully like it.. Thats all that i can say. There were street performance, souveniers stalls, arts and crafts and etc.. We had our dinner there as we wanted to have a night of local dinner at one of the fancy restaurants,El Celler del, but .. hmm.. hehe... ate our first tapas there.. interesting but since it was quite a big portion, both me and Hani mabuk seafood.. heheh.  hehehe.
Decided to have an early night cause tommorow was gonna be another long day. Both me and Hani soaked our feet in the bathtub as soon as we reached the hotel.. Poor feets. heheh.

happy birthday to me.. my classes this week was really pack and since my parents and the kids were down in london for a week, decided to just celebrate it with them.... had dinner at khans,bayswater since there arent many options in terms of restaurants that kids could go to over here... hehe.. had a really nice, quite and peaceul birthday this year... the kids being here is an added bonus for me.. they had a suprise dance and act and somesort of a pinata just to spice up birthday since they thought it was a little boring.. heheh..had the cake cutting at home and flowers delivered to my house!! i like!!

It was my parents first day here and since they brought three kids here, well.. basically i was assigned as the mummy.. phew.. never had to take care of kids as in with the routine of wake up, bath them, feed them, entertain them and the whole day routine up till they sleep before.. was tiring but well... happy!
brought them to legoland which is well.. basically the name says it all.. an amusement park with rides and such all made out of lego's. really big area but the only shame out of it is that it RAIN.. hence the pictures shows us in rain coats...hehe since i was the only adult that went (my parents wont go on any rides), i had to go on all the rides ThReE times.. goshh.. i know i like rides.. but not on the same rides three times.. heheh well.. anything for th ekids i guess..

one of the wackiest thing i did when i went home... it all started when eman asked .. biller nak gi umbai? at first i said dont think i have the time to go since i'm already going back.... but due to my extended stay in malaysia.. heheh.. yay.. we got the chance.
it was a really last minute plan.. on the day itself... i got a msg from shamsul saying to dress up. god knows why but oh well.. why not... so... of we go...the pictures says it all...

one thing i miss most is chilling out with just the girls.. heheh.. so .. the day before i was supposedly to go back to uk.. thats wat we did..just gathered up the sri aman girls plus a few others that was free and went out for a dinner at teapot cafe.. (heheh.. we were to lazy to go far) i love this girls tremendously..
